PSP RetroQ
PSP RetroQ is PSP Audioware’s unique take on a musical program equalizer, combining distinctive sonic character with low phase distortion for a smooth, natural sound.
Its shelving filters are based on the highly regarded filters from PSP VintageWarmer, while the midrange section was designed using the same internal architecture to maintain a consistent musical character across the entire frequency range. An adjustable high-pass filter completes the feature set, making PSP RetroQ a flexible yet straightforward tool for broad tonal shaping.
PSP RetroQ was optimized for processing groups and entire mixes, where subtle EQ moves can add balance, clarity, and character without sounding overly processed. It works equally well on individual tracks whenever gentle sweetening and natural tonal shaping are called for.

Yes, there are a lot of EQ plug ins out there. But PSP EQs have good sound at a very affordable price. Add to it the fact that the limited frequency selection some titles narrow 'the world of endless twidlling', forcing you to pick a frequency and move on! - just like many of our analog consoles. In order to run PSP RetroQ in 30-day trial mode or activate it, you need an iLok user ID which you can create for free at www.ilok.com, and you need to install the free iLok License Manager application but you don't need any hardware dongle.
You can activate the license in 3 separate locations, each of which can be either a computer or an iLok dongle (2nd generation or above). You can move these licenses at any time using PACE's iLok License Manager software.
